Hello,
I'm Dan Puzdreac, I own and manage this website (www.astockphotos.com). Born in 1979, I was always inclined to the technical side of things, and despite three different degrees (Management-Marketing, Economic Informatics & Management of Tourism Services) my personal interests have been around computers, web design and photography.
After my graduation in 2003, I've had various jobs, all of them related to my personal interests and not to the school I've graduated: assistant producer and location photographer for a film production company, graphic designer for mass printed materials, web designer & graphic designer for a web based company, web developer & newsletter campaign manager for another web based company.
The interest in photography started while working for the film production company, where I've learned the basics of exposure, lighting and so on.
This website is an expression of my knowledge of web design, web development and photography put together. All the images posted for sale are high quality digital photos, which can be used for both web and print.
Right now I'm using a Canon G6, together with a Fancier FT6307 tripod, 3 CTR-800W lights & Giottos light stands + a collapsible light cube:
I've started learning photography on a classic 35mm camera: Zorki 4
Then I moved to a better, more flexible classic 35mm camera: Praktica L2, on witch I've used all the lenses, filters and accessories I could find: 35mm, 50mm, 200mm prime lenses, various filters, macro rings, a 2x tele converter, a 0.6 wide angle converter, and so on.
